It is with great excitement that we announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Hamilton, B. Arch., B. Sc. Arch., as Executive Director of the Fiat Lux Library Project. Mr. Hamilton begins his new role on September 3, 2022. Mr. Hamilton will be responsible for the planning, development and completion of the Fiat Lux Library Project, including activities associated with architectural planning, engineering, and procurement. Mr. Hamilton has 30 years of professional experience, including executive responsibility for the design, management, strategic direction and performance of major projects. He has provided successful leadership on projects across a broad range of institutional sectors throughout Quebec. Read more »

Census Day 2018 report: 15,117 visits during a 24-hour period

On Monday, November 19, 2018, the Library asked individuals entering Library spaces to scan their McGill ID cards. The objective was to collect information about who uses McGill Library branches for the purpose of helping to inform decisions about improvements to Library services and spaces. Read more »
